Welcome to the website of Wimborne Conservatives. We exist to strengthen your quality of life, both in social and economic terms. We fight for justice and our ultimate aim is a united community which is self-sufficient, happy and progressive. We do not believe in excessive governmental intervention, nor laws or taxes which prohibit our rights to self-determination (within logical reason).

We do however believe in the strength and importance of family, of deregulated business, of healthcare that is delivered on a local level, of policing that is comprehensive, of a society that places social justice and respect at the top of its agenda. We firmly believe in free speech, the encouragement of creativity and enterprise, and the promotion of charitable causes, whether in terms of social housing or other local initiatives to give to those who need it most. Furthermore, we believe in a foreign policy that favours international development over unnecessary conflict.

With this in mind, please hear our plea. Sadly, nowadays vast amounts of money must be spent on elections to secure a seat in Parliament. And, this becomes a necessary evil when you consider the importance and influence that Parliament wields - if Mid Dorset and North Poole, the constituency that encompasses our lovely market town, can send a Conservative MP to Westminster, our area will be blessed by more change and improvement, the kind that has been initiated by the Conservative-led councils both at county and district level. If this goes hand in hand with the election of a Conservative national government headed by David Cameron, then we shall see all the more successes.
